Lion Attack on Halloween

There was a lion on the loose in the city of Herrin yesterday evening. A local mother, Bobbie Banks, was mauled by the ferocious beast. He could only be tamed by candy and goodies. A local photographer captured the rampage on film. Witnesses said, "Don't let his cuteness fool you, he is an animal!"

Ft Massac 2009

A cold and partially wet weekend at Ft. Massac. Of course, Christopher had a good time as mommy and daddy chased him around, making sure he didn't get into the fire, or play with the axe!

Visit to the Pumpkin Patch

We had a great afternoon at the pumpkin patch. Christopher got to go on a hayride, slide down a big slide, play in a bin of corn kernels, and of course pick out pumpkins! He had a ball.

One More for the Men of the House

Bobbie had her ultrasound today and we are going to have another boy! The ultrasound looked great and the baby is progressing nicely. Bobbie is feeling and eating better but still has to put on some more weight.

Labor Day Fun

We had a Labor Day cookout at the Banks House. Steve, Nap, and Nolan Schulz , Walter, Diane, and Casey Lambert joined us. Everyone had a great time spending the day together playing choo, choo and wrestling dolphins!

Sherida and Family Come for a Visit

Sherida, Jim and Olivia came up from Kentucky for a visit barring two homegrown watermelons. We had a wonderful time and hope they come back soon. Olivia and Christopher went on a trail ride together!

To Nana with Love

Christopher took time out of his busy schedule to go on a horseback ride around the living room! He wanted Nana McClain to know that he takes horse for a spin on a regular basis. Whoa Nelly!
