Heh

Christopher loves to sing...This is Chris singing Jingle Bells and his part seems to be the "Heh!" after "one horse open sleigh" As you can see, is really gets into it. He also feels that the proper accompaniment to Jingle Bells is to drum it. Quite a melody!

Christopher has had quite a birthday. Sunday was his birthday at his Grandpa Banks', Wednesday was his party at the daycare, Thursday was dinner at Pizza and Pasta Express with Nana & Papa McClain, and Saturday was his party at Pirate Pete's with his friends. Whew... We are all tired. He had lots of fun and got lots of nice things.

Wacky Hat Flash Mob

Most of you know of our eccentric hobby, geocaching. For those that do not, geocaching is a worldwide treasure hunt using GPS coordinates. We went to our second caching event a World Wide Flash Mob. A WWFM is when cachers around the world meet at a specific time in multiple locations worldwide. Our had a "Wachy Hat" theme. At 4:00pm CST some 30 people who were just strolling around a park whip out crazy hats and formed up. We logged in, took a picture, got snacks, danced to the chicken song and fifteen minutes later the mob disbursed. We caused quite a stir in Murphysboro. A cop even stopped by to see what was going on! Those crazy cachers! It was lots of fun and can't wait until next year.

Lion Attack on Halloween

There was a lion on the loose in the city of Herrin yesterday evening. A local mother, Bobbie Banks, was mauled by the ferocious beast. He could only be tamed by candy and goodies. A local photographer captured the rampage on film. Witnesses said, "Don't let his cuteness fool you, he is an animal!"

Ft Massac 2009

A cold and partially wet weekend at Ft. Massac. Of course, Christopher had a good time as mommy and daddy chased him around, making sure he didn't get into the fire, or play with the axe!

Visit to the Pumpkin Patch

We had a great afternoon at the pumpkin patch. Christopher got to go on a hayride, slide down a big slide, play in a bin of corn kernels, and of course pick out pumpkins! He had a ball.
